Hilldale Book Finally Released!

Dr Neil Lanctot has released the definitive book on the Hilldales and Negro Leagues in paperback. This book based on the development on Negro League Baseball focusing primarily on the Hilldales 22 year reign, their 1925 Negro League World Series Champions and 8 players in the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
The Book "Fair Dealing and Clean Playing: The Hilldale Club and the Development of Black Professional Baseball, 1910-1932" originally released in 1994 has gained new life after the Hall of Fame induction of Raliegh "Biz" Mackey in 2006.
In October of 2006 the state of Pennsylvania recognized the Hilldales by placing a historic marker on the site of Hilldale Park which was on the border of Darby and Yeadon in Delaware County.
